Project Details

Blood & Steam was an early university project, where me and some fellow students attempted to create a soulslike shooter. The mechanics of the game never came far and its more of an unpolished prototype. But the lore behind it and the level design is still something i’m pretty proud of. Me and another designer wrote a deep lore and I came up with game concepts. I greyboxed a prototype level and later implemented all of the artists assets.

Level Design and Worldbuilding

Me and another designer came up with a huge alternative history / dark fantasy world inspired by celtic myths. Here you can take a look into our narrative doc. At the bottom of the doc is some process documentation of the level design and prototyping of a progression system.
